Sofia Puente
RBT

Sofía is a bilingual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who has worked in the field since November 2025. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. She plans to begin pursuing her master’s degree in January, with the goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and continuing her career in Virginia. Having grown up learning English and Spanish simultaneously, Sofía understands the importance of communication, connection, and creating welcoming spaces for children and their families.
Sofía has always known that she wanted to work with children. Her interest in psychology began with a desire to better understand human behavior. When she discovered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), she was excited to pursue a career that would allow her to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. She especially enjoys seeing children feel safe and comfortable enough to express themselves—whether they are showing off their dance moves, coloring, playing, or simply being themselves. Sofía believes that play-based therapy makes learning feel natural and enjoyable while helping children build confidence, develop important skills, and form positive connections with those around them.
Outside of work, Sofía enjoys going to the gym, taking nature walks, reading, exploring new places, and trying new experiences.
