Joanna Bouboulis
Executive Director
Joanna, the Founder and Executive Director of Imagine That Therapy, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Boston University in 2005. Over the past 18 years, she has held various sales and marketing positions, ranging from Conde Nast to Amazon Web Services. However, in 2020, Joanna's life took a new direction when her daughter Zoe was diagnosed with autism. This pivotal moment prompted Joanna to delve deeply into the realms of ABA therapy and Speech Therapy for her daughter, ultimately transforming her vocation and passion. Driven by her personal journey, Joanna's mission is to establish a clinic that instills hope in parents seeking to equip their children with the necessary tools for independence and a fulfilling life. Beyond her professional endeavors, Joanna finds solace in activities such as Pilates, exploring new destinations, savoring culinary experiences, and cherishing moments with her daughter and husband in Alexandria, VA.
Jacob Frier
BCBA
Jacob Frier (M.Ed., BCBA, LBA) earned his Bachelors and Masters in Special Education from Vanderbilt University's Peabody College of Education in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Jacob has previously served in roles as a high school special education teacher and a school based behavior analyst in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System in Nashville, Tn. He has also provided in-home clinical supervision in the Northern Virginia and DC area. Jacob is passionate about creating learning opportunities individualized to each client he serves and building upon the strengths that each client possesses. He loves to find the joy in therapy by embracing the true individual potential of every child. Jacob is an avid reader, a traveler and enjoys baking new recipes every week.
Chelsea Ramsey
BCaBA
Chelsea Ramsey completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Troy University and achieved Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst status in 2022. Currently enrolled in a Master's program at Arizona State University, she anticipates graduating in the summer of 2024, concurrently accumulating fieldwork hours toward her BCBA certification. Engaged in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2018, Chelsea has garnered experience across clinic, home, and school environments. Her enthusiasm for ABA is evident in her dedication to imparting knowledge and skills to others. Chelsea thrives on creatively teaching fundamental life skills and delivering personalized, empathetic care to her clients and their families. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds joy in art, music, travel, and enjoying moments with her loved ones and her two kitties, Jojo and Willie.
Daryn Reeder
Speech Language Pathologist
Daryn received her bachelor's degree from Temple University in 2018 and graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Originally from Annapolis, MD, she currently lives in Alexandria with her fiancé, Kelsey. She has been practicing as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland for the last 3 years. Daryn has experience in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, American Sign Language and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population, Down syndrome, pragmatic disorders, AAC, articulation and phonological disorders as well as different genetic disorders. She loves to collaborate with professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy. Daryn believes in fostering a neurodiversity-affirming environment and that play should be prioritized in therapy sessions. Her favorite animal is a shark and when she isn’t working she likes to spend time outside, cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles, try new restaurants and spend time with her cat, Leo. She is so excited to start building relationships with new families and clients at Imagine That Therapy!
Naisergi Shah
RBT
Naisergi graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has been a Registered Behavioral Technician for over two years in northern Virginia, and has loved every moment of it. Naisergi is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University. She hopes to bridge the two fields together by continuing to learn more as an RBT and student. In addition to work, Naisergi enjoys dancing competitively, playing sports, cuddling with her two dogs and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to continue growing at Imagine That Therapy as she learns more about ABA by working with new families.
Leah Graham
RBT
Leah graduated from The University of Denver in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has been practicing as an Registered Behavior Technician in Colorado for two years until recently moving to Virginia to continue her passion of working with children in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has had the most amazing experiences meeting new clients and their families over the past two years, and seeing the progress that her clients achieve has been and will continue to be the most rewarding experience. She is excited to continue working as an RBT with Imagine That Therapy and building new relationships with her clients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running and exploring the city.
Jazmine Gendreau
RBT
Meet Jazmine, a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a journey to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Maryland. Fueled by a passion for positively impacting children's lives, she aspires to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jazmine finds joy in staying active, exploring new places, mastering the art of cooking, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Join her as she combines academic excellence with a heart-driven commitment to making a lasting difference in the world of behavioral analysis.
Alex Kapp
RBT
Alex is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University. After his graduation, Alex plans to attend graduate school to become a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on substance use and family counseling. He recently became a Registered Behavioral Technician after moving from Missouri to Virginia and has worked in-home as an RBT prior to working with Imagine That Therapy. Alex has worked for various behavioral health organizations including a residential/outpatient drug rehabilitation center, an inpatient hospital for ages 12+, and an intensive residential mental health treatment facility for adults. In addition to work, Alex loves spending time with his wife and cat, running, trying new foods, and exploring all the DMV area has to offer. He is so excited to continue his passion for helping others at Imagine That Therapy.
Helena Heist
RBT
Helena Heist is a highly motivated, passionate RBT currently attending American University to pursue a bachelor's degree in Justice, Law, and Criminology with a minor in special education. Her goal is to work within public policy to improve online safety legislation for children. Her background in ABA includes growing up in the field, as her mother is a Clinical Director for an ABA company located in Pennsylvania. Helena is dedicated to learning new skills and providing equitable support and opportunities to her clients. Outside of work, Helena enjoys collaging, playing video games, and cuddling with her cats. She is excited to continue her ABA career at Imagine That Therapy.
Alesha Bethea
RBT
In 2021, Alesha earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the Southern University A&M College, an HBCU situated in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A dedicated lifelong learner, Alesha is committed to providing top-notch, person-centered care. With over 4 years of experience in behavioral health and more than 2 years as a Registered Behavior Technician specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. ​ Alesha's aspirations extend to graduate school, where she aims to pursue a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapies. This future endeavor reflects her desire to integrate her passion for the arts with the goal of creating accessible services for a diverse range of neurodiverse individuals. ​ Beyond her professional pursuits, Alesha finds joy in exploring various musical instruments, spending quality time with friends and family, engaging in creative writing, indulging her love for travel, and even embracing the thrill of skateboarding. Excited to broaden her knowledge and skill set, Alesha eagerly joins Imagine That Therapy, anticipating both professional and personal growth alongside her highly qualified team members and enthusiastic clients.
Megan Lau

Megan graduated from William & Mary in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As a Registered Behavior Technician, she finds immense joy in witnessing the daily growth and progress of her clients. Motivated by her impactful experiences working in the field of ABA and healthcare, Megan harbors aspirations of attending graduate school to become a Clinical Psychologist. She is driven by her desire to develop accessible and high-quality services tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals. Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys embarking on adventures with family and friends, experimenting with new baking recipes, and reading a good book. She is excited to continue her journey in the ABA field with Imagine That Therapy and cultivate new relationships with her clients and their families.
Daphne Jeweler

Daphne graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and found her way back to the Northern Virginia area after completing her undergraduate studies. Daphne’s career has been shaped by her unwavering dedication to working with children. Each day, she is rewarded by witnessing the progress and growth of the children she serves, knowing that she is making a positive impact on their lives. Driven by her desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling at George Washington University. She is excited to continue her role as an RBT with Imagine That Therapy and learn more about ABA as she begins to build new relationships with clients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, cuddling with her dog, and exploring Northern Virginia.
